week-long crusade has proved quieter and more introspective.

A quiet
ceremony

of faith

BILLY GRAHAM came to Vancouver last week
with relatively little fanfare — despite the publici-
ty surrounding the evangelist’s week-long crusade.

And it is perhaps this
low-key style which = has
made Graham one of, if not
the, most popular evangelists
in the world today.

Take Tuesday night’s ser-
vice at B.C. Place Stadium
The warm-up to Graham's
sermon included an = ap-
pearance by gospel singer
Doug Oldham, = several
musical selections by the
choir, and a musical in
terlude while the collection
was taken up
