The North Shore Health Region is the body that has been established by the B.C. Ministry of Health to manage health services in our commu- nity. Services for seniors use almost half of the dollars spent on health care. The health region recently conducted a detailed study entitled “Planning for Seniors’ Health Services.” This report lists a number of changes that will help us to make the best use of our health dollars and, at the same time, keep us as active and healthy as possible.
