Safe to attack the Queen

Dear Editor:

tam writing in defence of consti-
tutional monarchy,

Cam not of British origin, My
parents chose to eraigrate to Canada
because its political institutions
offered what they never had: the sta-
bility of a hereditary Crown and par-
liamentary (not necessarily capitalist)
democracy,

One need not be ov British ances-
try to recognize the value of a consti-
tutional monarchy and feel a strong
loyalty to the Crown.

t would reply to the tediously
wrong-headed anti-royalist tirades of
our friendly eca-fanatic and food
faddist Bob Hunter that in his either
apparent or assumed ignorance of the
role and function of the monarchy in
Canada he reads as if he is living in
the reign of Henry VII or Charles {
(divine regal of kings) at best or one
of the more oppressive czars at
worst,

Norway, Denmark, Sweden and
the Netherlands are constitutional
monarchies whose citizens tive in
remarkably progressive societies
with a civilized standard of living

and re-gap the spark plugs; make sure the engine is
at full operating temperature before going into the air
care station. !f your engine is carburated it is a good
idea to check the mixture. As this requires special
equipment you will have to go to a service facility with
a gas analyzer.
