BUTLER - Ethel Beatrice (Belte) on June
26, 1994 passed away in her 83rd year
She leaves to mourn her foss, her son
Gordon Thompson; one grandson James
Thompson of Winnipeg; one sister Mrs.
R. Simpson (Bertie) of Red Deer, Alber-
ta; two brothers, William £. Woods
(Gladys) of Kelowna, 8.C., Nelson G.
Woods (Margaret) of Edmonton, Alberta:
Numerous nieces and nephews in Ed-
tronton, Kelowna, High River; one aunt
and many cousins in England. Bette was
born in England and came to Canada
with her parents at age two where she
resided in Edmonton until 1974 when
she moved to North Vancouver. Bette
was very active and enjoyed bowling and
was a member of Silver Harbour Centre.
Predeceased by hes mother and fathes,
two sisters and one brother, A Memorial
Service will be held at the Boal Chapel
of First Memorial Funeral Services, 1505
Lilleoet Road, North Vancouver on
Thursday, June 30 at 4 p.m. In leu of

BAKER - Renwick Emerson passed away
peacefully on Sune 25, 1994 with his
loved ones at his side. Ren was born in
Moulinette, Ont. on September 19, 1918
and served his country as a Sgt. with
the Air Force during WWIL. Lovingly
temembered by his wile Bettejane (B.).);
his three children, Callay (Greg) Fowler,
Ren (Shawna), Vicki (Jens) Vestergaard;
seven grandchildren, Arden Renwick,
Banya, Kai, Lauren, Layna, Clayton Ren-
wick, Carsten; his great-grandson Dillan;
and Rick Anderson who for over 20 years
was like a son, Also survived by sisters
Lillian Pettit of Hamilton, Ont, Rowena
Miron of Broken Arsow, Oka., and
mother-in-law Wyn Frith of West Yan-
couver, He was a retired member of the
ILW.U. Loc. 500, The Royal Canadian
Legion Branch Hi18 and The Danish
Brotherhood Lodge 328. Memorial ser-

Clement's Anglican Church, 3400 In-

DIX - Talosa (nee Timmins) passed away
June 21, 1994 after a long and paintul
battle with arturitis. Survived by her lov-
ing husband Alf, of 35 years, and her
many friends in Vancouver and Mon-
treal. Talosa was born in Vancouver, was
a graduate of U.B.C. Arts ‘31, worked for
the Royal Bank of Canada for thirty
yeats in Montreal and twelve years for
U.B.C. English Department on her return
to Vancouver in 1967, Special thanks to
