Metropolis Dance to perform NORTH VANCOUVER’S Me- tropolis Dance is bieaking in the new year with two performances at Presentation House, 333 Ches- terficld Ave. North Vancouver. The evening programs, which begin at 8 p.m. tonight, include a new work by choreographer Anna Haltrecht, Time Slip, and feature three new dancers: Cari Campbell, Anthea Browne and Bronja Novak. Metropoiis Dance director and choreographer Christine Elsey’s Taped Messages, which premiered last year at the Dancing en the Edge Festival, has been completely reworked and now includes a new original score by composer Bill Runge of Creatures of Habit. “The program is very experi- mental and the dancers are very strong,’” said Elsey.
