It’s a wonderful way for them to see the progressions made even in their own time, certainly in their parent’s, and dramatically during . the lives of their grandparents. It's been an easy way to show them how we've modified our environ- ment, how we've made life easier physically so that we can make it more demanding mentally. Those visits have been cut severely, to his real sorrow, because of computer classes and French immersion classes, and safety classes and the rest of the things we want to protect our children with. Add to which the recent steep rise in the price of their transport. That newly acquired computer is going to make a massive space difference in the archives office in the basement at Presentation House. Unfortunately, it is not protected in any way by sprinklers, except for the various vaults, which hold masses of im- portant paper but not any of the artifacts.
