cooler, refueling natural gas
powered vehicles at a home
or place of business will
soon be a commonplace re-
ality. The new appliance is
FuelMaker — a convenient,
cost-effective device that
doesn’t require any more
effort than plugging in a
vacuum cleaner.

FuelMaker will make natural
gas for vehicles more readily
available. It’s the ultimate in
self-serve refueling for owners of
natural gas powered — vehicles.
And, while the benefits for home
use are obvious, the advantages
for vehicle fleet operations and
other commercial users are
multifold in terms of time and
cost savings.

FuelMaker connects directly to
an existing residential or commer-
cial natural gas supply. All the
user has to do is connect the
tefueling hose fo the vehicle and
turn on. the system. When the
tank is full, the appliance
antomatically shuts itself off. Ef-
ficient and quiet, FuelMaker fills
an average cur or light truck in
about five hours overnight. lt has
the capacity to refuel two vehicles
from one appliance at the same
time.

While the device itself is com-
pact and simple to operate, it has
taken years of study and research
plus a growing concern over the
environment to bring FuelMaker
to market.

created last September when BC
Gas of Vancouver, Questar Cor-
poration of Salt Lake City, Utah
and Sulzer Brothers Limited of
Winterthur, Switzerland joined
