1990. However, a new, luxurious
Chrysler Town & Country model
makes its debut this year.

The handsome Chrysler
LeBaron has been given a bigger
3.0 litre V6 engine as standard
equipment. Also available is a new
2.2 litre four cylinder engine with
variable nozzle turbo technology
that helps to eliminate turbo lag.

The LeBaron also offers a
driver’s adjustable suspension,
redesigned interior, and a new
electronically-controlled four speed
automatic transmission and a five
speed manual.

The rear-wheel-drive Fifth
Avenue is gone and replaced by a
Fifth Avenue that is basically a
top-of-the-line version of the
front-wheel-drive New Yorker.
The new Fifth Avenue offers a 3.3
litre V6 engine, and is five inches
longer than the New Yorker.

The Imperial is back, as an even
longer New Yorker. It boasts lots

tronically-controlled air suspen-
sion, sumptuous leather interior,
and a 3.3 litre V6 engine.

A new convertible version of the
Dodge Shadow and Plymouth
Sundance is available. The Shadow
also has a new instrument cluster
and an available 174 horsepower
turbocharged 2.2 litre VNT engine.

The sporty Daytona now offers
a 2.2 litre turbocharged four cyl-
inder engine or a 3.0 litre V6. It
also comes with an electronic four
speed automatic transmission or
five speed manual, an optional ad-
justable suspension, and a new in-
terior design.

The new Eagle Talon sporty
compact, imported from Mit-
subishi, features all-wheel drive
and a 195 horsepower turbocharg-
ed four cylinder engine. A two-
wheel-drive version of this car, the
Plymouth Laser, is also available.

The attractive Dodge Colt 200
subcompact, built by Mitsubishi,
now appears in Jeep/Eagle
showrooms as the Eagle Summit.

Say goodbye to the Plymouth
Reliant and Dodge Aries compact
K-cars, the Eagle Medailion, and
the Dodge Lancer.
