Nativity dance
performed

CHRISTMAS CAME to the new
building of St. John’s Anglican
Church Dec. 19 for A Christmas
Nativity in Dance performed by
the Anna Wyman School of Dance
Arts.

Fifteen new costumes were new-
fy created to complement the col-
orful and unique collection from
previous years’ productions, and
senior company member Franci
Nash made a special guest ap-
pearance as Joseph in the two na-
tivity pieces.

Villages, shepherds, kings, pages
and angels dance to pieces by
Mozart, Bach, Clarke, Gruber-
Mohr, Gounod and Burt in this
year’s nativity dance production,

“Tt was very well attended, both
shows were full,’’ school of dance
arts instructor Muffet Kirk said of
the show, which the school per-
forms yearly.
