For more active adults, there is the Oct. 3 Turkey Trot bicycle rally, Monday evening Competitive Badminton, and Wednesday afternoon Awareness through Movement. Other new programs for adults include Haircuts for Kids, Bridge for Beginners, Parent and Child Knit- ting, and a one-day workshop on Weather Watching. New children’s programs include Afterschool Ac- tion and the Saturday Afternoon Club. Youngsters can also join in the Oct. 3 bicycle rally, and Jive and Rack n’ Rofl on Tuesday afternoons. In addition to regular preschool programs, the rec- reation centre is offering a new course on music ex- ploration through instruments, movement, voice and drama.
