Mailbox District alderman encourages residents to attend meetings Dear Editor: I would like to take this oppor- tunity to thank the residents of the District of North Vancouver who voted in the recent munitipal elec- tions, and who re-clected me as alderman for my fifth term. Municipal government is the most accessible level of our demo- cratic system, and | wish to assure your readers that | will continue to tespond to their concerns, | can be reached by phone (987-9676) or through the municipal hall. I would also like to encourage residents to attend council and committee meetings, which take place every Monday night, except for holiday weekends. The agendas for the meetings are available at your local library branch on the Friday preceding the meeting, and are also summarized in the Sunday News.
