Warnings send smokers strong message

THE FEDERAL health
minister and Capifane-
Howe Sound Tory MP
Mary Collins recently an-
nounced that warnings
would take up at least a
quarter of the front and
back of a cigarette pack.

Collins said the warnings will
make smokers even more aware of
the risks they are takiag.

Among the eight different war-
nings that are expected to appear
on tobacco packages within the
year are:
