photos here, Big Brothers of
Greater Vancouver would like to

serve the North Shore area. These
men spend between three and six
hours per week as a friend and
role model to boys from mother-
led single parent families.

Big Brothers here on the North
Shore are part of the solution to
the growing need in the
community. Recent studies have
documented the long term positive
impacts of the Big Brothers

achievement, and, in the longer
term, better paying jobs are some
of the key effects that have been
observed.

Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver
raises 75% of its own operating
funds. The fund raised support the
recruitment, screening, matching,
and supervision of the Big and
Little Brother matches by a staff of
professional counsellors.
