Errant drivers jaile

THE FOLLOWING people
were each recently jailed seven
days and fined $300 in connec-
lion with charges of driving
while prohibited.

All jail sentences were recom-
mended served through the electron-
ie monitoring program. All gecused
appeared before Judge Doug Moss.
@ Jason Grant Glacken, 21, of
Woss, B.C, pleaded guilty to a Dee,
18, 1993, incident in West
Visncouver.

Glacken was also prohibited
from driving for one year. He was
sentenced on Feb, 21,

Gibsons, was found guilty of an
Aug, 23, 1993, incident at the
Horseshoe Bay Ferry terminal in
West Vancouver,

He was sentenced on March 10.
Sami Mustafa Abuhjar, 22, of
Richmond, was found guilty of an
April 7, 1993, incident on Hamilton
Avenue and Marine Drive in North
Vancouver District.

Abuhjar was sentenced on March
11.
a Joanne Cunliffe, 34, of North
Vancouver, pleaded guilly to an
Aug. 19, 1992, incident on the
Trans-Canada Highway in North
Vancouver District.

She was sentenced on March 14,

Off to jail

A 22-YEAR-OLD North
Vancouver man was recently
jailed six months in connec-
tion with a charge of assault-
ing a woman,

Jeremy Wathan Tourchin
pleaded guilty to the charge
stemming from an Oct. 30,
1992, incident in North
Vancouver District.

The jail sentence was to
be served concurrent to any
sentence currently being
served.

Tourchin also received
three years’ probation.
