Lions Gate Hospital instalis
new phone system.

Lions Gate Hospital is in the process of installing a new telephone system. This new system
is designed to provide better phone service, more direct-in-dial tines, voice miail, pre-recorded
messages for the public, and other customer service features.

The new phone system will switch into operation Saturday, November 7, 1992 at 10:00 p.m.
There may be minimal disruptions in some non-patient care areas of the hospital during
the switchover, The main hospital phone number will remain 988-3131, and the switchboard
will continue to be statfed 24 hours a day.

The new phene system will accommodate more direct-in-dial lines. This expanded service
will allow people to cail many departments directly, without having to go through the
switchboard. A listing of frequently called departments is printed below.

These new direct-in-dial phone numbers may net be in service until after 16:00 p.m.,
Saturday, November 7.

Your patience and understanding during this transition period is greatly appreciated.
