Three days later, when the doors closed, the tally was more than 13,000. Today, money shows are held in most centres across Canada. The North Shore News will also be producing a special ‘‘money’’ section to alert readers to new 2. developments in personal money management. Watch for this in- formative news package. nae As I have said many times, there is no one right way to manage your money. But the right way to learn how to make the correct decisions for you, in your situation, is to learn about your choices. Carefully reading both the arti- cles and ads in the paper’s money supplement is a good start. Circle products, services and ideas that could benefit you. Note questions that occur to you. Con- tact the company or individual mentioned to get the answers. At the North Shore News money show, you will be able to cc:mpare a variety of financial products and services all in one location at one time. This makes shopping around so much easier. If, for example, you come up with conflicting views or recom- mendations, yeu can virtually br- ing the two individuals together for a quick debate so you can decide whose suggestion makes more sense to you. As you visit the various display areas, pick up literature that inter- ests you. Perhaps ask questions and make some notes. Some places have draws to help build up mailing lists. If you feel what the company offers could be of interest, put down your name. The quality of what you will receive will certainly vary. But you need to see a selection of newslet- e Ms. B.
