Aug. 31:

Paul Stefan Gruber received a
conditional discharge, was placed
on probation for three months and
ordered to perform 25 hours of
community work service after the
24-year-old North Vancouver man
pleaded guilty to a charge of
possession of cannabis.

Jay McDonagh was fined $100
after the 24-year-old North Van-
couver man pleaded guilty to a
charge of failing to appear for a
scheduled court date in Banff,
Alberta.

North Vancouver prosincial court
Aug. 28:

Randolph Carl Deboor tecened
a osuspended sentenee and wis
placed on probation for thice
months after the 26-vear-ald North
Vancouver man pleaded vuilty toa
charge of assault.

Frank Dezi Corsin was given a
conditional discharge and = placed
on probation for three months
after the 39-year-old Vancouver
man was found guilty of assaulting
a female.

David John Mathieson was fined
$350 after the 48-year-old North
Vancouver man was found guilty
on a charge of possession of mari-
juana.

Wildlife possession nets fine

A NORTH Vancouver pet habitat
research company was fined $250
Monday in North Vancouver pro-
vincial court after it was convicted
of unlawfully possessing wildlife.
Pet Habitat V.L. Research
Corp. was originally charged with
unlawful possession of wildlife and
trafficking in wildlife following the
June 29 seizure of a skunk by pro-
vincial environment officers.
Appearing before Judge J.D.
Layton, representatives for the
company pleaded guilty to the first
