Planning Chairman Dr.
George Cragg says there 1s a
great need for the con-
ference, especially in light of
the growing numbers of
older people on the North
Shore.

“We are always interested
in providing a wide base
respecting all preventive
aspects of geriatric care and
want to share this... with
all members of the com-
munity — young and old.
And we want the aging per-
son to benefit by all the ad-

vances in medicine — scien-
tific, social and spintual.
“We want our senior

citizens to reap the reward
for all that they have provid-
ed for us, i.e. a happy,
healthy, enjoyable hfe.” Dr.

WEST Vancouver Theatre
School is having auditions
for children and teenagers,
aged 8 to 18. on Saturday,
April 2, at 2478 Bellevue
Avenue, West Vancouver.

The school will be putting
on a performance of Wind in
the Willows in late May and
early June at various North

Shore locations.

The school offers
teenagers an advanced,
comprehensive course,

covering all aspects of show
business

For those with an interest

in speech training,  in-
dividual coaching is
available in short, weekly

lessons.

The registration fee for
the school is $10, however
this

will rise to $15 in
September. Class fees are
$25 per month for ages 4 to
13: $40 per month for
teenagers; and $60 _ per
month for individual
coaching for teens and
adults.
