A 22-year-old North
Vancouver man was in Lions
Gate Hospital and listed as
being in critical condition
following a motorcycle
smash which arose from a
party over the holiday
weekend.

North Vancouver RCMP
report that Kenneth Lloyd
Pollard, of 224 West 17th.
Street was extremely in-
toxicated Monday morning
between 12:30 and 12:45
a.m. when he rode off on a
black Yamaha without the
owner's permission.

Police say Pollard took off

lost control on gravel beside
the road while travelling cast

The bike skidded 32.5
metres and Pollard suffered
