annual Coho Festival
next weekend will be
“A Walk on the Coho
Trail” from Cleveland
Dan, via the. Capilano
salmon hatchery and
thence down the west
bank of the Capilano
River to Ambleside
Park.

Park Royal South, returning
by bus in either case to
Ambleside Park.

In the park the annual
salmon barbecue will be
served from noon onward,
throughout the afternoon.
Pit boss will be Bill Chap-
man, president of the West
Van Chamber of Commerce
which sponsors the event.

Also on sale will be 7% oz.
cans of top-quality sockeye
at $2.50 each or 10 for
$22.50, with all proceeds
going to North Shore salmon
enhancement projects.
