The 49 men in busbics and red tunics are the very same that
switors to Bngland will encototer in the forecourt ot
Buckingham Panes and at Whadser Castle during the daily
mounting of the Queen's Guard. That's because the band is, in
effect, the house band for the gucen

Stationed at Wellingtan Barracks. close to Buckinghant
Palace, the regimental band is called on to pertorm at invesurares,
state banquets and at many of Her Majesty's engavements. The
band also takes part cn Treaping the Colour on the Queen's
birthday.

The Grenadier Guards Band's musical make-up ranges trom a
