This design is always in
style and easy to customize to
your specifications with the
use of interesting buttons and
pockets. If you prefer a more
fitred style, waist darts can
easily be sewn. ~

Every clothing design is
based on five basic pieces
called master pieces. They can
be custom drafted and firted
or purchased from any of the
major pattern manufacturers.

Modifying the pattern

First ne “up e bodice

the waist and do the same
with the back pieces.

Creating roll collar
Line A to B and line C to
D are the same measurement
as point Al to C on the front
neck combined with point Cl
to C2 on the back neck.

approximately 9 cm (3%”).

Measure 2 cm

Finishing the

garment

Sew bust fitted
darts. Stitch side
seams and shoulder
seams, then press
seams open. Sew
sleeve darts and
seams, then press.
Interface the collar,
sew the collar pieces
together and trim
the seam allowances
and press. Next, ease
the sleeve caps to fit
around the armhole.

Interface front

collar into place. Lastly, make
the bution fholes and hem the
coat.

Tip: To save time, I usually
sew all the darts at once and
then press them. Next, I sew
seams such as the side, shoulder
and sleeves at once, then press.
