leading a seminar entitled ‘‘How

This seminar on the healing
ministry is jointly sponsored by a
number of North Shore congrega-
tions, and will be held at Hillside
Baptist Church, 870 Lynn Valley
Road in North Vancouver.

Lawrence has lectured widely
throughout the world, and led a
stimulating one-evening lecture
fast year in North Vancouver. He
is the author of two outstanding
books on the area of healing, The
Hotline and Doing What Comes
Supernaturally.

the spirit of SFU and ease the
transition from high school, say
organizers.

“Even if they're not planning to
live in residence, the overnight
stay gives them an idea of what
life on campus is about,”’ says
Dennis Hayes, coordinator of this
year’s program.

Hayes is one of 65 SFU student
leaders who promote the universi-

“As students who have ‘been
there,’ we also share first-year
experiences, in hopes that students
learn from our mistakes,"’ he

The program was originally of-
fered as a day-long workshop, but
became a full weekend event as a
way of giving students time to feel
at home in their new academic
surroundings. .
