The North Shore News fulfills several important functions in
the community of North and West Vancouver.

Many talented, hardworking people are careful to make the
newspaper informative, interesting and timely.

The entire system of news gathering, writing, composing,
printing, assembly and advertising sales ‘goes for nothing if the
papers and the flyers within are not delivered with thought, care,
and on time.

We have more than 900 carriers and we wish all of them to
have the qualities and abilities that enable them to work within
our system to deliver the papers properly — in their entirety.

All carriers earn the same basic fair wage and a few carriers
earn some extra money if their route is particularly difficult. Car-
riers are also paid for each and every fiyer they deliver within
the newspaper.

The North Shore News is a leader in free distribution in North
America. We ask you to deliver the paper carefully, with the flyers
inside. We're first in distribution on the North Shore. We're first
in flyer delivery and we aim to keep it that way.
