Adventure playground returns

about stereos

AUDIO SYSTEMS is a summer
program for teens being offered by
North Shore Neighbourhood
House.

The course is aimed at those
who wish to know more about
stereo equipment. Amps, speakers
and CD players will be looked at
and compared for quality. Partici-
pants will also tour a recording
studio.

The course is offered from July
7 to 25, on Tuesdays and Satur-
days. There is a $15 fee and par-
ticipants are asked to pre-register.

Increase strength

STRENGTH TRAINING classes
for seniors will be held at the West
Vancouver Aquatic Centre.

The schedule includes a choice
of two one-hour sessions bzing
held on Tuesday, June 30 and
Thursday, July 2, from 10 io 11
a.m.

The course will introduce
strength exercises as a safe and
important part of maintaining
good health as wel! as preventing
the likelihood of injuries to mus-
cles and joints.

The program is intended to be
social, fun and educational. For
