COMMUNITY COURSES
~ Learn how your children learn

A NEW WINTER program
is being offered at Delbtook
Community Centre on Mon-
day evenings for adults called
Learning to Learn.

Parents, here is a chance to
help your children learn. At-
tend this course to determine
in which of the following
ways your child learns: by
auditory, visual,: or
kinesthetic processes.

Also, there is a French for
beginners course offered to

adults on Monday mornings
or Wednesday evenings. This
is an introductory course to
learn conversational French,
It is set up as a group lesson
using texts to enable students
to learn the language. .
Once again the Mah Jong
—- Chinese Game of the Four
Winds — will be offered on
Tuesday afternoons «and
Contract Bridge on Monday
and Thursday afternoons.
For the younger set, two

new programs will be
available Saturday after-
noon. Saturday Afternoon
Recreation for 5-10 years and
one parent. A fantastic op-
portunity for parent and
child interaction. The Great
Escape offered to 11-14 year
olds with the aftérnoon
designed for the active teen.
Both programs include: out-
door and indoor gym ac-
tivities, arts and crafts, rac-
quet sports and swimming.
