Awards are presented by the three North Shore municipali- ties in recognition of home owners, builders and heritage advocates for their efforts in raising, community awareness Gf heritage issues and contributing to the preservation and protec: tion of heritage buildings. District of North Vancouver Heritage Awards were present- ed in council chambers on Monday, Jan. 27. Hentage advocacy awards were presented to Panl Hovan and Mel Turner, past chair- men of the Heritage Advisory Committee, for their longtime commitment and efforts in helping to preserve the dis- tict’s built and landscape her- itage.
