Home show will
have something

THE 1991 Fall Home Show at
B.C. Place offers visitors hun-
dreds of exhibits and thousands of
renovation and home improve-
ment ideas.

A series of exciting and infor-
mative feature presentations,
bound to be very popular with the
home improvement buff, is in-
cluded in the ticket price.

Appearing this year at centre
stage is. well-known broadcaster
and 6.C. Hydro’s “Mr. Power
Smart,” Shell Busey. He has
helped thousands of British Col-
umbia homeowners with their
renovation problems.

Since 1987, Busey has been
hosting home improvement semi-
nars at major shows, and he has
been instrumental in the success of
the B.C. Fall Home Show in past
years.

As a Power Smart consultant
with B.C. Hydro, Busey provides
the latest information and advice
on energy-efficient products and
materials for the home, as well as
suggestions to cut down on energy
waste in everyday living.

trends, Art Cohen explained,
“There is a general softening of
the jewel tones as we move into
the ’90s. The move from mauves
to peaches, and blues to teals are
just two examples of a gentler
look in interior design.”
