THE CONTINENT of North

America is known to

astrologers as ‘‘the Jand shadowed with wings.*’

Stretching under Sagittarius,
Capricorn and Aquarius, it lies

under all the major winged con-
sivilations.

High in the northern latitude,

It is no accident that aviation

developed in this part of the
world, nor that two grat and

of free expansion, individual re-
sponsibility, and government
responsible to the masses of peo-
ple,

Both Canada and the United
States became nations with the
Sun in Cancer, sign of the masses,
Virgo and Sagittarius prominent,
and the planets Uranus and
Jupiter extremely powerful in both
chart patterns.

The name Canada is derived
from the Indian word ‘‘Kanata,’”
meaning a town,

adopted. Our coat of arms bears
the motto: A mare usque ad mare
— from sea even unto sea.

Qur current schisms hel us re-
alize that we are ‘‘a broken peo-
ple.’’ We are locked up in blam-
ing each other for our country’s
newly exposed divisions. But crises
bring self-examination, bring peo-
ple together and offer new direc-
tions.
