ing a two-day birthday bash to
celebrate the coming of age of the
“place where they spent many a
day.
Events slated for the April 17-18
‘celebration ‘include the rededica-
tion of the school, a totem pole

raising and reunions for. former °

students and staff.
*. Some: lucky - raffle-winning
alumni will drive away with a 1965
8 Chevrolet Impala convertible, lov-
‘ingly restored by a group of Car-
son ‘students. :

bration participants not to forget,
that ever-present birthday, treat —
.the cake. While Cousins can’t say
just how big the cake is, he can
say, ‘‘It’s big, big, big.”’

unusual,

One of the more offbeat items is
from a Carson Graham graduation
banquet: a stolen Hotel Vancouver
table-cloth autographed by those
who sat around’ the table’s
celebrating feast. ‘

“That's quite a ‘novel ' item,’
observes Williams.

But Carson Graham students
witnessed other, historical events, -
not just their own graduation ban-
quets.
