been a prominent political figure for a long
time, having won one election and lost three.
There is speculation that it is time for him to
step aside and we are awaiting his decision.

proclaimed the two weeks at
last week’s council meeting.

Mentally Handicapped
Awareness Week is being
held to promote programs to
reduce the incidence and
prevalence of handicapping
conditions, and encouraging
proper prenatal care, good
nutrition and health prac-
tices, and early infant in-
tervention.
