After being briskly removed from the pit only moments betore the band was scheduled to play we were informed that Creed was not going on. The ofticial word was that lead vocalist Scott had a sore throat — my guess: the band took a look at the poor turnout and decided not to play. I think most people are going to want their nickel back on thts one. Ope for this fiasco was Nickelback. They were good, in that Eddy Vedder school of songwriting, not without merit. The band has been constantly gigging and it’s paying off, in U.S. bucks. Nikelback are heading south for their deal.
