Housing Corporation has becn pushed back, likely to October, said district Mayor Don Bell on Tuesday. The court case centres on three bylaws that amended the Seymour Official Community plan and affected 206 hectares (510 acres) of CMHC land in Mountain Forest. The bylaws, popular with many Seymour = residents, changed the designation of the land from Urban Reserve, suitable for development, to 3 Parks, Recreation and Open Space designation. Bell said the CMHC has added a second Jawsuit to the first and therefore the mid- September court date has been moved, likely to October, but no date has been set. The second — lawsuit invoives 2 recent rezoning which also affects CMHC lands in Seymour. CMHC development plans for those lands, which have been rezoned to parkland, call for 37 single-family lots and 74 townhome — units, said CMHC.
