So you could have accused

read in the communist rag
People’s Voice that Victoria had
cut off the flow of dough to
Alan Dutton and Co.

Dutton runs the high-
sounding Canadian ann-
Racism and Education
Research Sociery (CAERS),

which has received hundreds of

thousands of dollars from
provincial and federal sources.

Tt has been active in “per-
suading” hotels to cancel pub-
lic meetings by law-abiding
opponents of our immigration
mess (I have him on tape
boasting about it), and has
even acted as an adviser to
Attorney General Ujjal
Dosanjh on matters of
“racism.”

The whine in People’s Voice
was penned by David
Lethbridge, the commie acade-
mic at Okanagan College who
boasts he has just got an
Ontario teacher fired for saying
the wrong things out of class

’ and being seen with the wrong

people.

‘True to communist style,
his favonte words are “fascists”
and “fascism.” And he stated:

“Alan Dutton and CAERS
are in trouble right now and
they need your help... a very
large part of CAERS” budget
comes from the provincial gov-
emment’s multiculturalism
ministry [but] ... now there is
no budget.”

I checked with Marie Zak
of the Community Liaison
Branch of the Multiculcuralism
Branch and she confirmed this
good news. CAERS has been
cut off and its funding is
“under review.”

The apparent reason is that
Dutton had acted as guarantor
in obtaining an $8,000 grant
out of Metro Toronto so that
an Ano-Racist Action (ARA)
conference could be held
thei. Bur he was not entitled
to do so.

He had claimed thar
CAERS was registered under
the B.C. Societies Act. That
would have allowed him to act
as guarantor. But he — or it —
wasn’t. The organization had
been struck off for not submit-
ting financial returns.

In addition to which, I
might add, ARA is scummy
left-wing.

The Scarborough Board of
Education has banned it from
school property after being
advised ta do so by the police.

So have the Wellington
County Board of Education
and the Durham Board of
Education.

The Wellington board
pointed out that even though
ARA’s message “has often won
a sympathetic ear,” ARA “is
involved in physical confronta-
tion and extreme violence that

ARA members have fought
pitched bartes in Toronto
streets, trashed a restaurant in
which a group of people —
many of them elderly — were
holding a dinner, and orga-
nized demonstrations outside
Ernst Zundel’s house shouting
“kill the Nazi.”

Previous to that, Zundel’s
house had been partialiy
destroyed by an unknown
arsonist and he had been sent 4
powerful bomb, also by per-
sons unknown. It could have
killed him and anvone else who
was in the same room.

The ARA's activities have
been widely covered by the
Toronto media.

Yer not only was Dutton
instrumental in getting the
group money, he and
Lethbridge were two of the
main speakers at the ARA con-
ference.

The ARA can be compared
to the KKK. Photos taken by
Zundel show that many of the
people demonstrating, outside
his house actually wore nyasks
and hoods,

The only difference is that

_ the KKK belongs to the

extreme right, while the ARA
is from the extreme ett.

So why a review? Isn't
enough known about CAERS
already?

Apart from all that, for well
over a year CAERS did not
legally exist. And it was not
Dutton’s or Lethbridge’s busi-
ness to act as self-appointed
thought police and pressure
hotels to cancel other people’s

Lethbridge has asked his
commic friends to write to
Dosanjh to get CAERS’ fund-
ing restored. My proposal:
send Dosanjh a copy of this
column and tell him you are
fed to the teeth with your
money being poured down
Dutton’s drain. And other,
similar drains.
