Michael’s Hospital, Toronto, for five- weeks, since he became’ paralyzed when he fell in a fréestyle acrobatic jump while skiing with the Labatts team in an indoor exhibition. Tonight (Wednesday) the skiing star who had hopes of being selected for the Winter ‘Olympics and who is kegarded as the top freestyle skier in B.C., arrives in Vancouver on the Labatts jet. He will be accompanied by his mother, Joan Milina and his two sisters, Jane and Lesley — who have been in Toronto since the October 8 accident — as well as by his father, Tony Milina, who flew to Toronto specially to make the journey home with His father says Jim will initially be going to GF Strong Rehabiliation Centre, in Shaughnessy while the Milina family prepares for ' the changes they will have to incoprorate in their lives in order for Jim to return to the family home at 1662 Evelyn. But even returning to Vancouver is a great boost to the skier and Tony Milina says his son is in excellent spirits. DETERMINATION Throughout his hospitalization, Jim has maintained a positive at- titude and determination that his father attributes to 66 JIM MILINA the progress he has already made. “He is in excellent spirits and hasn't had a down yet.
