Kayak club ciosing down for winter THIS weekend is your last chance to hop aboard and go for a ride with the West Vancouver Kayak Club. The club operates at Ambleside Beach from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m through to Monday (Sept. 27). The lake is a great place to stop for lunch: you can be entertained waiching climbers rake on the steep rock faces to the east. New to the Mount Baker Wilderness area this year is a $5 parking fee.
