satile Gemini, Jeff Hyslop
deserves his abundance of success
and accolades for many reasons.

He is as talented and
charismatic as the iikes of Gene
Kelly, Donaid O’Connor, Kay
Bolger and Tommy Steele com-
bined and he gives of himself on
many levels. He gives because he
is able to receive. Being loved
eliminates all blockages.

A while ago. a very sensitive,
shy young lady friend of mine,
deeply enamored of Jeff (having
viewed his TV show for yeess),
desired to meet him. This was her
life’s dream. I told her, ‘‘Nothing
is impossible!’’ and suggested to
her mother that we contact ‘‘his
people’? to arrange a surprise
meeting.

We subsequently took her to
“A Little Show’ on Granville
Island and after the charming
revue, the theatre vacated, he ap-
peared, eagerly joined us and
made her dream come true in the
most magnanimous manner.

He took an immediate, warm,
sincere interest in her, openly
shared aspects of his personal life
with us, posed for a few pictures,
autographed his photo and gener-
ally revealed himself to be as fine
a human being as anyone would
ever hope to meet.

We both love Gene kelly: he
directed me in a movie once; He
gave him his dancing shoes.

The late choreographer/teacher
Grace MacDonald was his mentor,
She obviously saw who he was. So
will the world. His star will shine
more brightly in the years to
come. Two, four, six, eight...,
who do you appreciate? Express
it!
