Based on a study done at the University of British Columbia, its goal is to encourage and support changes in people’s actions, not just their attitudes, when it comes to environmental matters. Currently coordinated by En- vironment Canada, Going Green was an initiative of the North Vancouver District Task Force on the Environment and has a work- ing advisory board that includes represeniation from various sec- tors of the North Shore communi- treats m reusable glass containers, fountain pens, recycled stationery, T-shirts with environmental messages, reusable lunch bags, picnic baskers, metal coffee filters and much more.
