IN WEEKEND action recently the North-West Vancouver Ringette Belle
B Blades defeated the Delta Devils 12-3 in a game where five goals by
Tania Brunes and a hat trick by Heidi Biggers helped the win.

Leanne Joe, in her debut .s goalie, contributed to the low score
against, and the Tween A Hawks lost a hard-fought battle against the
Poco Club, Katy Snow scored two goals in the losing decision.

In other action, the Petite A Lions played the North Shore Winter
Ciub to a 2-2 tie. Kerri Jesson played outstandingly in goal, and a strong
effort by Sylvia Martinz resulted in two guuls.

In another game, the Lions toppled Poco A team J1-3. Hat tricks by
Joanna Weiler and Michelle Keast. as well as a strong defence led by
Carrie McKellar and Alison Boyd in goal, aided the decisive win.
