Hayward was an outstanding high school athlete who went on to win a silver medal in the Com- monwealth Games. Instruc- tion in Shot Put and Discus will be given by SFU Throws Coach Mike Cairns. A limited number of boys and girls in Grades Six through Nine will be ac- cepted for the Clinic. Previous experience in Track and Field is not essential, and Club membership is not required. Instructional groups are kept small to en- sure that each athlete receives individual attention. The Clinic runs from April 1 through 4.
