B.C. RESIDENTS are
getting a first — a trade
show specifically
designed for the condo
crowd.

There are some 90,000 to
100,000 condominium homes
in B.C., the majority of
which are in the greater Van-
couver area. Of these, some
are duplexes and four-plexes
but there are hundreds of
Strata corporations of a
sizeable nature, be they town-
houses, three-storey frame
apartments of concrete
highrises.

These developments are
managed by elected strata
council members who collec-
tively spend millions of
dollars annually on a vast ar-
ray of goods and _ services
such as management, _in-
Surance, repairs and
maintenance on their
properties.

The Only Condo Show is
being held October 6 and 7 at
the Westin Bayshore Hotel
and is open to the public.

The purpose of the show is
to provide a forum for con-
dominium owners and their
strata councils to meet some
of the many professional
firms and individuals who
serve the condominium in-
dustry. Some fifty firms are
scheduled to be exhibiting at
