STUDENTS who have their
own ideas about traffic safety
— and put them into practice
— have the chance to earn
awards for their schools in a
province-wide incentive pro-
gram organized by ICBC and
the Ministry of Attorney
General.

More than 2500 elementary
and high schools are eligible
to take part in the 1984 Traf-
fic Safety Award program,
designed to encourage stu-
dent participation in school
and community traffic safety
activities.

Awards of $500 will go to
40 elementary schools that

Entries must be submitted
by November |. Successful
applicants, selected by panels
including teachers, police of-
ficers, nurses, insurance
agents, the media and
representatives of
CounterAttack and ICBC,
