Everyone seems to be con-
cerned about rights these
days, from senior citizens to
preschoolers. Nowhere in
my readings, however, have
I come across a single word
about the rights of dieters. If
there were such a Dill of
rights, though, I know how it
would read:

ARTICLE ONE: The sim-
ple statement, “I am going

on a diet,” shall constitute a
legal announcement, and as
such shall command respect.
Pursuant to this end, the fol-
lowing responses shall hen-
ceforth be deemed illegal:

a. “What,.again?”

b. “How long do you think
you'll stick-it out this time?”

c. Loud yawning.
d. Raucous, un-
controllable laughter.
