Hans Granander is one of the newcomers to. the Whitecap ranks, and unlike some of the indoor players who are there strictly for the game on the _ boards, Whitecap officials feel they have a long term investment in the young goal scorer. Wilson feels that his all- round play makes the striker “one of the best off the ball players in Canada” and he fully expects that after a couple of years seasoning, the teenager will be taking his place with the best in the league. Playing in his first indoor game ever last Friday night in Edmonton, Granander picked up a goal in the Whitecaps exciting 6-5 win over the Drillers. The former graduate of the McSween =_ soccer organization has played on the North Shore Under 16 and Under 18 teams after coming from California, but originally from Sweden.
