is also survived by his stepsister Ruth
Eleanor (Fen) Whalley of Stockton,
California; sisters-in-law Bea (Nigel)
Snelgrove, Dolly (Doug) Cartwright and
Ruth Fisher; many nephews, nieces, one
uncle, two aunts, and many cousins and
special friends. :
Funeral services will be held Friday, July
2, 1993 at 2 p.m. in St. Agnes Church,
530 East 12th Street, North Vancouver,
B.C. The’ Reverend Roy Dungey ol-

of natural causes, Eric Hampson C.D.,
T.D., Ed. D. Major R.A.E.C, (retired).
Beloved husband of Christiana (Paddy)
and father of Patrick - grandfather of
Tricia. Born Hawarden, Flintshire, Wales,
on 14 March, 1916. Eric served in the
British Army in various corps from
1939-1946, 1948-1952. During. the lat-
ter years, he served on the War Oltice
Inspectorate of Army Education. Alter
arrival in Canada in 1956, he served in
Kitimat as a teacher for two years and
from 1953-1982 in Vancouver com-
pleting his service as Department Head
Special Education, Vancouver Technical
Secondary School. He also served in the

_ Canadian Army Militia, latterly as Senior
