The project is being reduced because of higher than anticipated bids. . The lowest bid on the entire job, at $1.6 million,. was higher than the $1.3 million provided by the munici- pality. The dropped items will be priori- tized so that they can be reinstated should continued fundraising prove successful. Fundraising has already netted about $700,000. more than $600,000 needed’ to meet the municipality's contribution. Coun.
