Meadows, exchanged wedding vows on
August 20, 1994 at the newlywed’s
1912 character home on the North
Shore. The bride's dress was a unique
creation by Lana Krause of the Arts Club
Theatre and the Maid of Honor was in
Raspberry Pink silk. Sonja and Ron are
currently foneymooning in Carmel,
California,

ASAI - Dean passed away on August 24,
1994, age 2] years. Survived by his
parents Yuki and Yuji and grandmother
\chino Tani. Also remembered by many
aunts, unctes, cousins and friends.
Active in scouts for 16 years, Dean loved
the outdoors. He achieved the silver
Duke of Edinbourgh award and helped
fead a troop. Dean’s sense of humour
and cheerful presence will be sorely
missed. Funeral Service, Saturday
August 27th at 1:00 p.m. in the Boal
Chapel of First Memorial Funeral Ser-

DOBSON - George on August 22, 1994
in the 90th year of his full adventurous
life, Georse departed peacetully on his
journey home.
He maintained his sense of humour and
gratitude as his steength ebbed from
leukemia; lovingly supported by his wife,
family, friends and the caring staff of te
West Vancouver Care Centre.
George was born in Stratford, Ontario,
moved to Vancouver as a chiid, estab-
lished Wolfe and Dobson Furniture in
1936 and later enjoyed active retirement
living in Deep Cove and wintering in
Arizona.
Best semembered for his energy, en-
thusiasm and leadership ability, George
was active in organizing outdoor activi-
ties for church groups, cubs, young life,
Kiwanis, Y's mens, square dance and
hiking clubs.
Left with wonderful memories of him
and aa example of a life well-dived, ace
his wife Dorothy (of §6 years): three
children Barbara (Warten) Edgeter,
Barney (Penny) Dobson, Merrilee (Jim
Davis) Sutherland; and 12 grandchildren
Darien and Kristin Edgeler, Calico,
Sonia, Cole, Mathew, Andrew, Oavid and
Amanda Dobson, Trevor, Michelle and
Shawn Sutherland; sisters Mary Butler
and Helen McGregor and many other
close relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service in celebration and
thanksgiving for the fife of George Dob-
son will be held on Wednesday, August
31, 1994 at 2:00 pm, Mount Seymour
United Church, 1200 Parkgate Avenue,
North Vancouver (off Mount Seymour
Parkway).
Cremation. in lieu of flowers, you may
wish to donate to your favourite charity.
We hope to place a memorial bench in
Panorama Park, Deep Cove.

ROSS - Andree (Dede) Madge Joan (nee
peck died at home Thursday, August
18, 1994 at 10:30 a.m. after a lengthy
battle with cancer. She was 53 years of
age. Dede is survived her son Scott Ross;
her brother Peter Speck; nephews Alan.
Qavid and John Speck, plus many
friends. Special thanks to Mark and
Sarbara Ollerton for many months of
kind and patient cate in the fina! stages
of her illness. No service or flowers by
her request.
