Holiday Inn Harbourside Executive Chef Kiaus Bertram estimates that the RECIPE WINNER cake and the frame will weigh 550 pounds. The giant birthday cake will be on display on the food floor of Robson Square from !1 a.m. onJuly 1. At approximately 1 p.m., following completion of the Citizenship Court ceremonies, the cake will be brought to the outdoor stage where Frances Fridge, B.C. Folkfest chairman will cut the cake with a ceremonial sword.
