United Landscape Supplies, just 11 years old,
has developed from a 40 year family tradition in
the lumber, building and landscape industry. Derek
Inman opened Centre Building Supplies in Lynn
Valley in 1959. Derek's son, Rob, opened his first
building supply store in 1973, also in Lynn Valley.
The Inman family businesses joined in one location
in 1979 as Seymour Lumber Company at 125
Riverside Drive. The company enjoyed great

business until his death in 1983. United Landscape
Supplies was created in 1988. Presently, United
Landscape Supplies is operating solely as a
landscape supply company selling both retail and
wholesale, while Seymour Lumber is now strictly
wholesale.

United Landscape Supplies is situated in a
unique 1940s building that has been restored by the
Inmans. Rob’s sister, Heidi works in the store also.
The store offers everything from excavation, to
design and implementation, to the finished
product. Their selection is enormous and the staff is
knowledgeable and helpful. United Landscape
Supplies can help you with turf, plants, boulders,
planter boxes, retaining walls, irrigation, paving

stones, and benches to list only a few. Delivery

is also available for your convenience.

This is a genuine one stop building supply
centre. You can purchase — everything
required and will receive the information
you need for a successful project. The staff
