Leslea MacPhail, opened
Structure Hair ‘Salon in

Edgemont Viilage in North
Vancouver and launched
their Edgemont Collection.

Phase one was to develop a
clientele and establish them-
selves. Phase two is now in the
works. The salon is now
grooming a Structure team to
allow them to compete in
industry competitions.

They are led by Joseph
Maggi, Structure Hair Salon
artistic director, who was
recently chosen to represent
the year’s best at the Contessa
awards ceremony to be held
on Nov. 23, 1997 ar the
Westin Harbour Castle in
Toronto.

This month the Structure
Team was also selected to
compete in the L’Oreai
Colour Trophy Competition
held at the convention centre
as part of the Allied Beauty
Association Convention.

Emphasis in this fall’s col-
lection is on curly hair, texture
or short, easy-to-wear bobs.
